I get asked this question a lot, especially from young men and women who have a background and undergraduate education similar to mine. Here is my response. Is it our role to police language people use to empower themselves, even if we don't love it? I can't claim ownership to much more other than the language women are using to empower themselves, but I have some thoughts.
We all have opportunities to influence social impact, but recognizing and siezing those opportunities takes a little work.
